If you enjoy a drink every once in a while, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques out of the casino. Pack only the cash you expect to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you anticipate to burn and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a intoxicated night out with your acquaintances and be lucky sufficiently to catch a long roll at a hot craps table. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and wager. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your money back at the hotel might be a little drastic, but preventative measures for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then do not drink and play. If you like to toss away your money nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated brain throws away every little thing!
Let me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink and then go on the net to gamble in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, however considering that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Although I don’t drink a lot, when I drink, it’s certainly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. The two mix up for a dangerous, and costly, drink.
