If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and cheques at home. Take only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well have a profit following a boozy evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you always drink alcohol and bet. These activities just do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but precautionary measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self loses every little thing!
Allow me to take this 1 step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the web to gamble in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condominium, but because I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.
Why? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I drink, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and costly, drink.
