As an avid player, I have learned a few valuable lessons while betting over the decades. It doesn’t matter if you like to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous web casinos. Here are my golden rules of gaming, many of which may be deemed common sense, but if accepted they will help you go a long way to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.

Don’t be concerned about cash for the taxi if you squander all of it; most cab drivers, especially the taxis hailed at casinos, will drive you to your house and are more than happy to wait for the moolah when you get home.

Rule 3: Stay to an upper cutoff. I frequently envision what I’d love to purchase if I win. The previous time I was able to go, I decided I would would like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which cost about $400, so that was my upper cutoff. As soon as I reached that amount, I stopped. Just stop. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself tells you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and say goodbye. Leave Secure in the understanding that you will be proceeding into town and acquiring a great new toy!

Rule 4: Have fun. When you’re "buzzing" you will profit. It is a reality. I do not understand the reason why, but it just is. Once it feels like a burden, or you are simply playing to earn a profit you have lost, you will fritter away more. When you are succeeding, experiencing a wonderful experience with your mates, or your significant other, you will gain more and more.
